I've never had trouble sleeping before. I'd fall right asleep and be able to stay under for hours. Sleep in. Even when I had babies, and my body should've gotten into the habit of waking up at odd hours, I still craved sleep.
I still don't have any problems falling asleep. But lately, I've been waking up in the middle of the night, suddenly, perfectly awake, the same way a cat will suddenly jump up from a nap. And then I can't fall asleep again for a long time, and I spend the rest of the day in exhaustion. Is it because I'm stressed out? I don't think so. Is it because I'm getting old? Maybe. Is it because my brain won't shut up? MOST LIKELY.
